Okay, Candi, here you go, I am updating this blog. I will try and update both for right now, until I learn how to use this one better.
About today....severe thunderstorms today, as well as, a tornado touching down south of me. Very scary stuff. I spent the day cleaning, washing dishes and doing laundry. I listened to the rain while I did my housework. It was very soothing. I had all the lights out in the house, candles lit, and windows open to get some fresh air in the house. It started getting a little chilly and the puppy was shivering, so I closed the windows.
The cat is being punished and is supposed to spending her time out doors, but I had a surprise today when I found her asleep in the middle of Lauren's bed. I am pretty sure she jumped in Lauren's bedroom window to get out of the storm. Waited until the storm was over before dumping her back outside and shutting the window.
After picking Lauren up from school she went out to check for eggs and picked a panful of green beans for me.
My sunflowers are finally getting flowers on the stalk. Yeah!
Made burritos (without beans) for dinner. Poured a spicy queso over them, man were they good!
More rain expected for the entire week, which is a good and bad thing. I love the rain, but the flooding I can do without.
