The Little Prepared Red Hen

This was a cute story, that I thought I'd share....made me laugh my hiney off......

The Little Prepared Red Hen
By Rathunter
Based on "THE LITTLE RED HEN"

Once upon a time there was a farm. In this farm there were

twenty sheep, a little red hen, and a farmer who was in

charged of every thing. So one night a wolf snuck into the farm

and ate one of the sheep. The next morning the farmer

said “don’t worry Ill take care of everything”. So the farmer

built a little fence. The sheep then felt better. However the

little red hen knew something was wrong so she started

building up her coup with extra seed for food and more water.

All the silly sheep laughed and mocked her saying all her preps

where a waste of time, and that the farmer would protect

them. The little red hen responded by saying that they should

start preparing as well because one day they might need it to

survive incase when tshtf in the entire farm. But the poor

sheep didn’t listen. That night the wolf came along again

except with his friend and jumped the fence and ate three

more sheep.

----------------
That morning the sheep complained to the farmer, and he

said “don’t get upset the wolves were really hungry because at

there den there’s not much food or clean water; also they

chase away varmints for free”. “They will probably go back on

their own”. The sheep felt bad for the wolves so they left some

of their water and supplies to make their stay more welcomed.

Some sheep were even learning to howl and bark like wolves.

Meanwhile the little red hen was hard at work sharpening his

claws and his beak for self defense. The farmer didn’t like the

idea, because he was worried when the time came to harvest

the hen that she would fight back in defense. While the little

red hen was preparing, the sheep said that they didn’t like the

right to bear claws. The little red hen ignored them knowing

that they were ignorant, and when the time to defend

themselves from wolves and other threats like the farmer

comes, that they will be hopeless. And so that night the

wolves then returned again this time with the entire pack. All

together they ate six sheep, as well as thirty varmints.

-----------
That next morning was a scary one for the sheep; they

started to realize that the fence wasn’t helping. The wolves

didn’t just take all the presents, but all the water, recourses,

and ten lives. On top of it all the wolves didn’t even leave the

farm; they were building dens next to the barn! By that time

there were ten sheep left. The wolves were starting to out

number the entire farm. The sheep were starting to panic so

they went to the farmer for help. The sheep said that the

wolves were doing more harm than good, and they keep eating

the flock. The farmer scratching his rear pondering then

gradually said that he will step up security at the perimeter of

his farm. He also said that the sheep should try to consider

letting the wolves by the barn to stay, because it would be

nearly impossible to try to catch them all. The sheep put their

hoofs down and said no. So the farmer reluctantly had no

choice but to get up and try to kick them out. When the sheep

returned to their quarters they noticed that all their water was

gone, and their food bin destroyed. Somehow the Sheep had to

find remains of water and eat the feed off the ground. While

this was going on the little red hen was making a bug out bag

with survival supplies and needs, also she put wheels on her

coup making it a bug out vehicle. The sheep saw that and

commented amongst themselves. Except this time it wasn’t

negative. They’re were getting Ideas for themselves. They

asked the little red hen what to do. Packing her bug out bag in

her bug out vehicle, replied “you should have been doing what

I have been doing all week”. The Sheep softly asked “what

where you doing”? The hen annoyed by their foolish behavior

then shouts “PREPARING”!

------------
That Night the wolves brought other packs into the farm.

This time it was madness. There was yelling, howling, rioting,

and chaos. The sheep were frightened and didn’t know what to

do! If only they had been prepared like the little red hen

warned maybe they wouldn’t be in this mess. So they went up

to the farmer to see what to do, and he said well to me it

seems that you sheep cant handle things your selves, so I’m

going to issue these Identification tags on all of you for your

safety. The sheep were starving, tired, and were not in the

mood for any more excuses. So they decided to try to escape.

When they ran back to their pens they noticed that the little

red hen was packed up and ready to go. The sheep ask where

she is going. The little red hen says “far away”. As she started

riding her coup out of the farm a couple of wolves were

thinking of eating her until they saw her claws. However they

did see all the defenseless sheep and the one farmer in the

distance; so they decided to eat good that night, and they

did. People often wondered what ever happened to the little

red hen. Some say she went up north with the Canadian

geese, others say she had chicks with a handsome rooster in a

farm far away. To be honest with you folks the world may

never know.
