Rodney's pride and joy, his tractor. He recently made the little roof over it out of some scrap metal. He even added a little tool box to the back, and a drink holder (at Lauren's request). She didn't like taking him drinks all the time when he was out in the field.
My baby chicks have grown up. The gold ones are Buff Orpingtons, the dark red are Rhode Island Reds, and the speckled ones are Cuckoo Marans.
Our mean Rott, Duchess. We have to keep her chained when we have company. She's only 7 months old, but she's a toot! My chicken coop on right, and the grey and burgundy tent like thing in the back? My combination outhouse/shower. We have a porta potty that we keep in there for the girls mainly. Boys have it a little easier, as we have lots of trees and bushes LOL!
Please remember, this is just our "temporary" cabin arrangement, until the house sells and we can purchase the rest of the containers and building supplies. This is a view of the long side showing the windows that Rodney put in last week. We have paint coming that will be an off white/tan color. I want to paint the inside floor a red or forest green color, but we'll see. The front door we are picking up on Friday, will be installed (supposedly) right next to the window on the left.
Okay, here is a picture coming in the "front door". This area will be the "living room". The woodstove will be to the immediate left where the bike is located. I will have two wing chairs here, along with the bookcases holding books, small tv/dvd, and the bookcases front doors each open to show a small writing desk. These will be Lauren's and Hannah's area to do their schoolwork. You can see that Muffin has made herself "to home" on Lauren's bed (way back). She is the small black speck on the bed to the left.
It's kind of dark, but the dining table is on the left, buffet and propane grill on right. The grill has a gas burner on the right side that I have been cooking on.
Okay here is the "bedroom" LOL!
